since disappeared. The list essentially consisted of what magicians had shown me
during my travels.
 
There was this person from Chicago that would approach me every time he saw me and
show me a coin move that I should use in Matrix. For about 8 years seeing him
somewhere about twice a year, he would come up to me and show me this move. The
move was to be used while adding an unseen coin to the target location during the
routine. A coin is hidden under a card. The coins at the target location are picked up
with the card and dumped back to the location. In the process the card is turned over, a
coin is clipped and the hidden one allowed too fall. The goal is to show that there are
only two coins and a card, a third coin remaining concealed. He was a very nice
person.
 
Unfortunately, the move violates one of my magic principles, which is, “Never do a
move to show nothing happens.”
