| When I say, “I do not know what to say,” this means I am not considering the |
| events that occurred nor am I considering the consequences. I realize that there is |
| nothing anyone can do. One time I approached an individual I thought had gone to far. |
| The person told me that Matrix was public domain and belonged to no one. He felt, |
| with some strength, that every thing about Matrix was public property. I am convinced |
| that if I raise an issue with anyone I will simply make more enemies. There are a lot of |
| people in magic that are nice people and I enjoy their company. When all is said and |
| done that is probably the most important reason for doing anything. One thing is clear |
| right now; I am enjoying the opportunity to share my thoughts about this subject with |
| I hope you don’t mind if I share a number of random events that have occurred |
| during the years. Along the way, I do want to make a couple of important points about |
| the performance of Matrix. |
| Off and on, I go to magic conventions. Sometimes I go to many, and then I do not go |
| for a while. There was a period that magicians would always approach me and show |
| me a new way to do Matrix. Usually the new way was a way to get the coin moved |
| from one location to another. Some are quite good. I was collecting all of these |
| methods and was contemplating a book titled, The Methods of Matrix. I had a list of |
