Again, I did not know what to say or do. So, feeling like I should say something, I
said, “Would you like to see my handling?” Albert then came alive and said he
certainly would. So, I showed him the moves. He took it in with great enthusiasm.
After I was done showing him the trick, he performed a number of things one of which
was his Spellbound for which he was quite well known. Then he offered to teach me
anything he knew as appreciation for me showing him Cards-n-Coins. I was honored,
but my mind was tied up with my upcoming Physics test and I indicated that I was not
interested. I heard the shop owner chuckling on the other side of the counter at my
response. Later I thought I might have been a bit insulting. However, Albert did not
seem to mind. As the years passed whenever we met, we treated each other as friends.
Some time after this I went to a magic convention in Columbus Ohio. This was always
my favorite get-together. One year I met a magician named Derrick Dingle. I, of
course, showed him Coins-n-Cards. The following year I went to the Columbus event
again. Again, I met Derrick Dingle. He showed me a trick he had come up with. It
utilized four coins and four cards. It was essentially my Coins-n-Cards routine. He
also told me he was putting into a book that he was writing. I am not sure what to say
