The first transfer occurs from the upper right to the upper left. The left goes to the
upper left position and the right goes to the upper right position. The left thumb pushes
the upper left card to the left a bit until it touches the extra coin there. Then execute the
Schneider Pickup Move raising the coin and card from the table. At the same time the
right hand raises its card from the table in a similar way. Both hands touch the cards at
the same time, rotate the cards a bit as the left locates the coin, and both raise cards into
the air. As far as the audience is concerned nothing has happened yet for they see two
coins lying on the table. The cards are placed back on top of the coins. When the right
hand places its card on top of the coin, the card’s edge is aligned to the edge of the
coin in preparation for the Schneider Pickup Move. Immediately the cards are picked
up again. This time, however, the right hand executes the Schneider Pickup Move and
the left raises the card only from the table. The audience observes that one coin has
traveled through space.
 
The two cards are brought toward your body a bit and toward each other. They are
flicked against each other with the Flick Transfer so the coin is moved from the right
hand to the left hand. The card in the right hand is placed on the edge of the mat over
the jumbo coin. We are now ready to make the second coin go.
