Extend the fingers as the hand nears the surface. |
Cause the edge of the clipped coin to hit the surface of the close-up pad.  |
Snap the coin onto the pad.  |

Hold three cards in the right hand palm up.  |
The thumb slides the top card to the left. |
Place the back of the hand on top of the coin spreading the middle two fingers. |
The left long edge of the card is allowed to rest on the surface of the table.  |
The back or outside of the third finger presses against the coin edge closest you. |
The coin is levered up. |
Do not pick up the coin at this point. |
The thumb moves from the extended card to the other cards. |
The thumb presses down raising the right edge of the extended card.  |
Raising the card creates an area under the cards in which the fingers can move. |
Move the hand to the right. |
