of four coins and the lower right coin is picked up and placed at the upper left position.
The description of the move will take several steps to cover the entire sequence. For a
bit of background a normal way a card is placed onto the table is discussed. Then the
way a card is placed on the table to do the Schneider Transfer Pickup is presented.
This is followed with an explanation of how the coin is picked up. Both are then put
together.
A Natural Placement
So we begin by showing a normal way to place a card on top of a coin. Start by
holding three cards in the right hand in dealing position. There is a coin on the table
that will be covered with a card. The motion begins when the thumb pushes the
top card to the left covering the coin.
 
Often the hand will rotate enabling the thumb to move toward the table so it can
continue to maintain control of the card, pushing the card onto the table over the coin.
Then the hand would move away to the right and rotate palm up. The point here
is that when normal people thumb a card onto the table, they rotate their hand in doing
so. This rotation of the hand does not allow the fingers to manipulate something on the
